About the role
We're dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. As a Part-Time Special Needs Nanny, you'll provide exceptional care for children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other special needs. Your role is crucial in supporting children's development and independence, while fostering their communication skills and daily routines.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care and support for children with special needs
- Help children develop communication skills and daily routines
- Support children in their social and emotional growth
- Collaborate with parents and therapists to implement individualized care plans
- Ensure safety and comfort of children during all activities
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and plan care strategies
Requirements
- Experience caring for children with special needs is preferred but not required
- Passion for making a positive difference in children's lives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check and reference checks
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment)
