FTC has immediate opportunities for experienced Special Inspectors and Field Engineers to be part of our team.

Responsibilities
- Complete assigned inspection as scheduled by dispatch
- Perform scheduled inspection during the time assigned – inspect, review and submit reports according to NYS DOB code and approved drawings
- Usual schedule is 7am-3:30pm
- Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Qualifications
- Hold certifications from ICC, AWS, NICET and/or ACI including: ICC Commercial or Residential Certification required
- Technical, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree pertaining to the Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, etc.) a plus
- Familiar with the New York City Building Code
- Ability to read prints and find inspection locations
- Ability to produce inspection reports according to company standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Reliable means of transportation necessary
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards
- Punctual, reliable with good attention to detail
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to travel numerous job sites daily
- Highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic
- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of project managers
- Prepare and electronically submit daily reports
- Organized and efficient
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Authorized to work in the U.S with a valid driver license
Pay
Hourly rate: $25-55/hr
Schedule
Usual schedule is 7am-3:30pm; ability to work various shifts as needed.
