Special Inspector

About the role

Responsibilities

- Conduct special inspections as per industry standards and client requirements. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations during inspections. - Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations. - Collaborate with project teams to address issues identified during inspections. - Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in special inspections. - Proficiency in using specialized inspection equipment and software. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to travel to various project sites within the region.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and welding. - Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards. - Experience with environmental consulting and geotechnical engineering.

Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Familiarity with geotechnical testing equipment and techniques. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

$26 - $35 USD
