About the role

Join Creighton University as a Special Faculty member to help teach students how to become compassionate nurses within the College of Nursing in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of students in the clinical areas.
• Oversee Labs and Simulations.
• Hours vary week to week depending on the number of sections in the lab.
• Special Faculty typically work 12-18 hours per week.
• Clinical rotations are 8 weeks.
• Spring Term 1 (Jan-March)
• Summer Term (June-July)

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or earned doctorate in nursing) OR possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be currently enrolled in a MSN program.
• A minimum of two (2) years in nursing and in the specialty role.
• Prior teaching in a clinical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• A current unencumbered license as an RN in the state of Arizona, or eligibility for licensure.
