Special Events Evening Childcare Associate, West Ashley Campus

Hours: Thursday evenings (6–8 pm), first Wednesday of each month (6:30–8:30 pm), and as needed for special events. Location: West Ashley Campus. Reports to: Children’s Ministry Leader.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and security of children in your care
• Act as a positive role model, treating each child with dignity and respect
• Engage children in classroom activities (Bible story time, crafts, worship songs, free play, games, or other age-appropriate activities)
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment, following all safety policies and procedures
• Report concerns regarding child or parent behaviors to the Childcare Coordinator
• Greet parents and build trust by developing relationships with the children
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize toys, chairs, tables, and floors after use

Requirements

• Christ follower (as a religious organization, Seacoast Church aligns hiring decisions with our faith and beliefs)
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekday, weeknight, weekend, and holiday shifts while maintaining good attendance and punctuality
• Passion for caring for children and ability to relate well to both kids and adults
• Must be able to lift, hold, and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to appropriately handle stressful situations
