Responsibilities
- Assess children's educational and developmental needs.
- Implement strategies and activities that foster learning and development.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the integration of strategies.
- Monitor and document children's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet their developmental milestones.
- Manage scheduling and caseload based on personal availability and capacity.
Requirements
- NYS Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
- NYS Permanent Special Education Certificate
- NYS TSHH Permanent Certificate
- NYS TSLD Initial or Professional Certificate
- NYS Licensed Social Worker
Qualifications
- Experience in early intervention or working with children with developmental delays preferred.
- Experience with ABA and working with children with autism preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with diverse families and teams.
- Excellent organizational and independent working skills.
