About the Role
Provide instruction that is specially designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities in a Special Education Class or Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) setting. Positions available include one High School ICT role with an ELA concentration and two Elementary-level positions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver research-based instructional strategies and interventions tailored to a diverse group of learners, including students with behavioral needs, functional needs, and/or Autism.
- Implement positive and effective classroom management strategies.
Requirements
- Certification according to NYSED guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with disabilities.
- Experience or ability to work in an ICT or Special Education setting.
