Special Education Teachers Needed!
Position Overview
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to support Stafford County Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year. These roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a highly regarded district known for strong instructional support, collaborative teams, and student-centered programming.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
- Deliver differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Collect and track student data to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education guidelines
- Support a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility)
