Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEPs)
  • Manage classroom activities to support diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with staff and families to provide comprehensive support
  • Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student success

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Special Education (SPED) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of IEP development

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with middle school students
  • Experience with intervention strategies

Additional Requirements

  • Pass criminal background check
  • Work during school hours
  • Maintain valid licensing
