About the role
The Auburn School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced SLC Teacher to join our team. Reporting to the Building Administrator, this position is part of the Auburn Education Association.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes according to district curriculum and standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and resources
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching license in Washington State
- Experience teaching in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,304 - $133,953 DOE 25-26 School Year Rates For current salary schedule and union agreement, please visit the Human Resources page under Resources.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
