Responsibilities
- Prepare lessons toward mastery of state standards
- Collaborate with other faculty
- Small group instruction
- Differentiate instruction and provide interventions
- Work with administrators and coaches to improve performance
- Monitor students
- Collaborate and communicate with parents and other stakeholders
- Develop and administer assessments
- Instruct students in accordance with their IEPs
- Hold IEP meetings
Requirements
- An active Tennessee teaching license with proper endorsements for Junior High School Self-Contained classroom
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
