Special Education Teacher (School Services) - $46 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Special Education Teachers to join an amazing school team at a partnering school district in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The position is a local contract role starting ASAP for 13 weeks, 37.5 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities through personalized instruction and advocacy that fuels academic and personal growth.
• Build and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators and families.
• Track student progress.
• Create engaging lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement.
• Special Education Teaching Endorsement must meet position requirements.
• Multicategorical/Crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted.

Pay

$42.35 – $45.60 per hour, plus a $3,000 assignment bonus (conditions apply).

Schedule

37.5 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.
