About the role

The Resource Room Teacher position at Auburn School District is responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with learning disabilities or other special needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Washington State teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities or other special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
