Special Education Teacher - Per Diem Substitute

Duties

Lead Special Education Program in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Support and manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Certification: Initial/Professional
• Students with Disabilities 1-6 OR Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist OR Permanent Special Education K-12 preferred.
• Experience with students in Special Education programs preferred.
• Knowledge and Experience implementing New York State Curriculum and Standards preferred.
• Experience with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model preferred.
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Pay

$24.67 per hour
