Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) partners with school districts to provide school-based opportunities for Special Education Teachers in a variety of settings. We are a creative and innovative team dedicated to supporting students and fostering a collaborative work environment.
About the role
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring access to the general education curriculum.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Monitor and assess students' progress toward IEP goals, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals and objectives.
- Provide behavioral support and intervention strategies for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Job roles may vary based on state and district requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Current state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Passion for supporting students with special needs and making a positive impact in their lives.
