Special Education Teacher (Moderate -Severe) | San

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers with a Mild/Moderate (M/S) credential for school-based opportunities in Santa Ana, California.

About the role

This position supports students and makes a meaningful impact in the classroom. The pay rate is $48.00 per hour, with weekly pay on Fridays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in a teaching environment (preferred)
• State Teacher Certification in one of the following (preferred):
  • Standard Elementary Teaching
  • Standard Secondary Teaching
  • Standard Special Teaching
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
