Special Education Teacher - Make $2,058 to $2,226/week

Aya Education is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year in Carlsbad, NM.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing care and instruction to students with special needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Special Education Teaching Endorsement
• Active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement issued by the Department of Education
• Experience with IEPs

Pay

$2,058.50 to $2,226.25 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements)

Schedule

• Up to 40 hours per week
• Workdays end mid-late afternoon
• Weekends off
