Special Education Teacher - Grades 5-8

About the role

Responsible for providing specialized instruction to students in grades 5-8 with special educational needs. Implementing individualized education plans and collaborating with other professionals to support student success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school staff to support student progress.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Special Education.
• Experience working with students in grades 5-8.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
