SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER FULL-TIME NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL
About the role
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for curriculum planning and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). They collaborate and coordinate with administrators, educators, and instructional assistants. They also co-treat and provide services to students with the school counselor, therapists, and other educators. The role involves being a liaison with families and providers, and providing educational services to students in partnership with other students.

Requirements
- A Massachusetts DESE state certification – Special Education Teacher
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable and proficient with Federal/State laws and regulations and the IEP Team meeting process
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts License Required
