Special Education Teacher – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a student-centered, relational classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing instruction in various settings based on IEP goals and adapting curriculum for individual needs.
• Developing, maintaining, and implementing IEPs in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Monitoring student progress through assessments and data analysis.
• Collaborating with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure inclusive and effective support.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance during audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid or eligible Arizona Special Education certification.
• Knowledge of IDEA, state regulations, and instructional strategies.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with IEP software and educational technology.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in K–8 settings and co-teaching models.
• Growth mindset, passion for serving learners, and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.

Pay

This full-time role offers a salary range of $45,000 to $62,000 annually.
