Skill Requirements
- Understanding of evidence-based practices for students with ASD, including visual schedules, sensory supports, and differentiated instruction.
- Ability to write, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) using daily academic and behavioral data.
- Skilled in behavior modification, implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and utilizing crisis de-escalation techniques.
- Ability to effectively direct, train, and manage classroom Instructional Assistants to ensure team consistency.
License and Certification
Utah Special Education License with Endorsements required.
