Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the Exceptional Education learning environment to prepare lesson plans, provide specialized instruction, evaluate, monitor, and collect data on the students’ performance in order to advance student achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
  • Complete required case management duties.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Special Education preferred, Bachelors required.
  • At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in special education in a high school setting preferred.
  • AZ Special Education Teaching Certificate required upon hire.
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
