About the role
Sandburg Elementary in the Lake Washington School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a 1.0 FTE continuing position in a Resource Room setting for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Provide academic and behavioral supports to students who spend the majority of their time within general education.
- May provide pull-out services, push-in supports, or co-teach with general education teachers.
Qualifications
- A Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

- Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days.
- Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund.
- Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
Pay
- Salary based on teacher salary schedule.
