Special Education Teacher
About the role
The Bradley School is a licensed private academy serving close to 200 students with special education needs. Students may have learning, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges and struggle in traditional classroom settings. We offer a unique educational experience tailored to each student's needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach students with diverse learning needs in a supportive environment
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and modify curriculum as needed
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Current PA Department of Education Certification in Special Education (preferred but not required)
- Ability to obtain a private school emergency certification if needed

Schedule
Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of our students and staff.
