About the role

The Bradley School is a licensed private academy serving close to 200 students with special education needs. Students may have learning, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges and struggle in traditional classroom settings. We offer a unique educational experience tailored to each student's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Teach students with diverse learning needs in a supportive environment
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and modify curriculum as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Current PA Department of Education Certification in Special Education (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to obtain a private school emergency certification if needed
