About the role

SPG Therapy & Education is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are passionate about helping kids reach their full potential through creative and collaborative educational support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support to students in classroom settings
  • Conduct academic assessments and assist with IEP goal development and implementation
  • Collaborate closely with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers
  • Facilitate student engagement and participation throughout the school day
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and maintain data collection and progress monitoring

Requirements

  • Valid California Special Education Licensure
  • Ability to work in person with students in a school environment
  • Proficient in IEP case management
  • Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously develop professional expertise
