About the role

HAMPDEN ACADEMY is seeking a Special Education teacher to manage a resource room setting that supports students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), regular education classes, and executive function skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach resource room classes in core academics.
• Collaborate with educational technicians and service providers.

Qualifications

• Strong background and experience with special education instruction and services.
• Proven abilities to use data-driven instruction and differentiation within the classroom to maximize student achievement and meet student needs.
• Effective communication skills both within school and externally with families.
• Collaborative skills including working with colleagues.

Requirements

Appropriate Maine Certification, CHRC required.
