About the role

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Special Education Teacher for its esteemed Riverside School. The position offers a competitive salary range from $86,985.60 - $89,107.20/year for Master Level with licensure, depending on years of experience, and $72,134.40/year for Bachelor's level with licensure. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM, with full on-site and in-person programming.

Responsibilities

Teach students with moderate disabilities in an academic setting
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with other professionals to support student learning
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Participate in professional development and staff meetings

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Special Education with licensure in moderate disabilities (preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with licensure in moderate disabilities (required)
One year post-degree experience working with children and/or adolescents in an academic setting (preferred)
Current licensure in special education

Qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

Skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
