Special Education Teacher

About the Role

Ridgeview is seeking candidates for a part-time special education position. Successful candidates will have an accomplished academic background and a strong interest in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce and implement educational material to support and strengthen student skills
• Work closely with special education staff, teachers, and parents
• Prepare materials and collect data
• Create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain student files

Requirements

• Colorado State License in Special Education
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to relate grammatical concepts to students
