Responsibilities
- Work directly with students, identifying, developing, and implementing appropriate instructional strategies, materials, equipment, and environmental modifications to maximize each student's potential.
- Draft annual goals and short-term objectives for IEP meetings, regularly evaluate student progress, and adjust goals as necessary.
- Use critical thinking skills to effectively assess, develop and deliver training and information to establish and maintain strong relationships and regularly communicate progress towards goals.
Qualifications
- NYS Certification Required - SWD B-2, 1-6, or All Grades - OR - Dual Certification SWD 7-12 with ELA, Math, Science or Social Studies
