Special Education Teacher

Location: Main Dunstable Elementary School – 2026-2027 school year

Salary: $49,000 - $100,386 (contractual) plus a $1,500 stipend

Qualifications

• New Hampshire certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• ESOL certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver specified course content as a highly qualified teacher
• Use effective differentiation strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain positive, professional, and respectful interactions with students and parents
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with grade-level expectations that enhance critical-thinking skills
• Implement instructional strategies that foster an engaging, meaningful learning climate
• Inspire and empower students in their own learning
• Collaborate regularly with peers to align curriculum and improve the instructional environment
• Pursue continuous professional growth through reflection, new learning, and efficient work habits
• Meet all professional obligations, including deadlines and schedules
