  • About the role

    The primary location for this position is Kenedy Elementary School. The salary range is provided upon request and can be seen on our Salary Schedule.

  • Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs.
    • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
    • Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and school staff to support student success.
    • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions.
  • Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
    • A valid teaching certificate in Special Education.
    • At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
    • Experience working with students with disabilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications

    • Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
    • Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
  • Skills

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing classroom environments.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
