Responsibilities
- Create and implement structured lesson plans
- Build a therapeutic rapport with our students
- Work collaboratively with our Special Education team
- Attend meetings with family members, collaterals, and other teams
- Help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued
- Support students in developing a sense of self and providing them the skills to be successful in their next steps
Requirements
- A Massachusetts teaching license
- A Massachusetts Moderate Special Education License preferred
- Knowledge of the needs of the population served and understanding of the range of interventions and treatment required by this population
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with students, families, and collaterals in a positive manner
- Leadership abilities, ability to work alone in an unsupervised environment, and capacity to serve as a responsible, mature, and flexible role model
- Background and driving record checks will be performed
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Therapeutic rapport-building skills
- Ability to provide safety and support in a therapeutic setting

Pay
The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year.
