exercise classroom management and crisis prevention/intervention
creatively motivate students and engage students in a variety of ways
adapt instruction as needed to each student
maintain safe environment
communicate with administrators and parents daily
be punctual and available during working hours
work collaboratively with other professionals and staff
model correct use of oral and written language
model and promote empathy, compassion, and respect for gender, ethnic, religious, cultural, and learning - diversity of students
attend staff/team meetings
