Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a full-time Learning Specialist or similar role.
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education.
- Extensive knowledge of special education law and best practices.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector and the unique challenges faced by children with special needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of professionals and families.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Commitment to staying current on developments in the fields of special education and healthcare.
