Duties

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with NYS and Federal regulations
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Participate in CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and contribute to evaluations
• Implement behavior management strategies and support positive student outcomes
• Modify curriculum, materials, and assessments as needed
• Ensure compliance with testing accommodations and state mandates
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
