About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist / Special Education teacher to join our team and provide support to students with diverse learning needs in grades K-6. The role involves designing and implementing instructional strategies, managing IEPs, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure student success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social goals.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience working with students requiring specialized instruction.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
