Special Education Teacher | Resource Classroom | Part-Time (.5 FTE)

EDU-AIDs is looking for Part-Time Special Education Teachers to provide Resource Room support in Phoenix, Arizona. We have opportunities across multiple grade levels for passionate educators who are committed to helping students with diverse learning needs reach their full potential in an inclusive school environment.

Your Role

As a Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom, you will provide individualized and small-group instruction to students receiving special education services. You will collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure students receive the academic and behavioral support they need to succeed.

  • 7th/8th Grade Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom (.5 FTE)
  • 3rd/4th Grade Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom (.5 FTE)
  • K–6 Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom (.5 FTE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction in a Resource Classroom setting
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on students' learning needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Work part-time (.5 FTE) on-site in Phoenix, AZ according to the assigned schedule

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching in a Special Education setting
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
