Special Education Teacher

About the role

The primary location for this position is Triway Elementary School. The salary range for this role is $40,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Implementing evidence-based instructional strategies to support student learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments.
• Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting student data as required.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license in the state of Missouri.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of special education best practices and standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
