Special Education Teacher
About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement prescribed curriculum and lesson plans tailored to meet the individual needs of assigned students, while providing instruction in educational, social, and vocational skill development.
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress toward Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals.
- Manage behavioral and academic challenges using positive behavioral supports.
- Collaborate with clinical, medical, residential, and educational team members.
- Contribute to student assessments, educational planning, documentation, and classroom program development.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in education, with SPED certification preferred.
- Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies required.

Schedule
Salary: $49,824 - $64,310 per year. Based on years of experience, certification and experience.
Pay
- Bachelor’s Not Certified: up to $50,571 per year
- Bachelor’s Certified up to $59,872 per year
- Master’s Not Certified up to $60,948 per year
- Master’s Certified up to $64,310 per year
