About the role
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs within the District. This position requires a deep understanding of educational strategies and resources tailored to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on their unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and accommodations.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to optimize learning outcomes.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in special education.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
- A current teaching license in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
