Special Education PK-12 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction to students with special needs
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement educational plans
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Current Special Education PK-12 Certification
• PA Teaching Certificate
• Transcripts
• Criminal Background Check
• Child Abuse and Neglect Clearance

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Experience working with special education students preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Proficiency in using assistive technology
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
