About the role

Substantially Separate Language Based Program at Raynham Middle School.

Responsibilities

• Teach students with mild/moderate disabilities in a language-based program setting.
• Implement curriculum aligned with DESE standards and SEI endorsement if applicable.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, general education teachers, and related service providers to support student success.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• DESE License in mild/moderate disabilities 5-12.
• SEI Endorsement preferred.
• Wilson Certification or Orton Gillingham Certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong background in special education.
• Experience working with students who have language-based learning disabilities.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
