Position Overview

Boothby Therapy Services is actively recruiting Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year across Massachusetts. We are interviewing now to build a strong network of educators for anticipated needs throughout the state, including preschool, elementary, and secondary settings.

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities

Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student goals
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Monitor and document student progress using data-driven practices
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (minimum)
  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred (preschool through high school)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
