Description Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our multidisciplinary team, providing individualized education to hospitalized students. This role plays a vital part in supporting students' academic, emotional, and developmental growth during treatment, with instruction tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the classroom environment, including teacher assistants and studentsDevelop and implement flexible, individualized lesson plans that support academic and personal growthCollaborate with clinical, medical, and nursing teams to align education with treatment goalsProvide small group and one-on-one instruction to accommodate diverse learning needsMonitor, assess, and document student progress in alignment with IEP goals and hospital policiesSupport students through transitions and discharge planning, maintaining communication with families and home schoolsFoster a positive, structured learning environment that supports behavior management and engagementMaintain accurate academic and behavioral records as required Why Join Us?
