Special Education Teacher
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a new Kindergarten through 6th grade program in Springfield, MA, opening in Fall 2026. This school will include a team of 18–20 teachers and is designed to provide best-in-class, comprehensive services for students on the autism spectrum.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
- Minimum of one year of experience in a teaching environment (preferred)
- State Teacher Certification (preferred types: Standard Elementary, Standard Secondary, or Standard Special Teaching)
- Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Pay
$60/hour. Travel rates available if you reside 50+ miles from the school's location.
