About the role
Special Education Teacher Assistants support the academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs of students with specialized needs as directed by Special Education Teachers.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with specialized needs to achieve their goals and reach their highest potential.
- Apply best practices for working with children and young adults with specialized needs.
- Provide general written and verbal guidance to specific work situations.
- Ability to lift and move up to thirty pounds without assistance or assist with lifting and moving up to fifty pounds.
