About the Role
Amergis is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students in Early Childhood and Elementary settings for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain IEPs
- Implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
- Provide instructional support to students with disabilities
- Support students with behavioral and learning needs
Requirements
- Missouri DESE Special Education B-3 Certification OR
- Missouri DESE K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education Certification
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule
9-month contract (August 17, 2026 start date), 36 hours per week.
