Pay
- Starting salary (BA degree): $56,900
- Average teacher salary: $64,970
- Credit for up to 20 years of teaching experience
- Up to $15,000 for advanced degrees

Health Insurance
The district participates in a group plan covering hospital, surgical, and medical costs for certified employees working at least 75% of a full-time contract.
- Single coverage: District pays $707.40/month; employee pays $78.60/month
- Family coverage: District pays $1,176.60/month; employee pays $784.40/month
- Employee + 1: District pays $942.00/month; employee pays $628.00/month
- Employee + dependents: District pays $852.60/month; employee pays $568.40/month
If both spouses are employed by the district at ≥75% time, each pays $78.60/month for health coverage.
Employees on 50–74% contracts receive half the listed benefit; those below 50% receive no district insurance.
Premiums increase annually on July 1.
Term Life Insurance
The district covers the full premium for a term life policy with a $15,000 benefit plus double-indemnity coverage. Employees on 50–74% contracts receive half the benefit; those below 50% receive none.
Dental Insurance
The district pays the single-premium cost for certified employees working ≥75% time. Employees may add dependents at their own expense. Those on 50–74% contracts receive half the single premium; those below 50% receive no district dental benefit.

- 5 years of service: $500
- 10 years of service: $500
- 15 years of service: $1,000
- 20 years of service: $1,000
- 25 years of service: $1,500
- 30 years of service: $1,500
- 35 years of service: $2,000
- 40 years of service: $3,000
