About the role

Granite Academy is a dynamic day school for middle and high school-aged students who have emotional and mental health needs. This position requires utilizing the innovative Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) framework and adhering to the school's unique structure.

Responsibilities

• Convey passion for helping others through teaching and working with students
• Support students in academic, vocational, social, and recreational activities
• Carry out Granite Academy’s mission and purpose of collaboration to support life-long learners in achieving independence and self-sufficiency
• Deliver curriculum in adherence to the MA Curriculum Frameworks
• Plan and deliver lessons, integrate technology, and conduct assessments
• Supervise to support teacher development

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or content area required
• Experience with Google Classroom preferred
• Collaborative and independent working abilities
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and application of basic computer programs
• Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations

Pay

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $94,000 per year. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.

Schedule

The 11-month school year consists of 202 days.
