Vacancy for Long-Term Substitute, 1.0 FTE, full-year assignment at Wheatland-Chili Middle/High School.
About the role
Teach students with disabilities in grades 7-12. Science certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach science courses to students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and other staff members.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Teaching Certification in 7-12 Students with Disabilities.
- Science certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students and staff.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
